Team Leader - Grant Home, The Croft

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Croft Grant home for a committed and energetic Registered Nurse with proven experience in aged care. Leading a team of professional and dedicated caregivers, your compassionate and caring nature, coupled with your proven experience in this field, will enable you to make an important contribution to the quality of life enjoyed by those in your care.
The Grant Home has an envied reputation for providing excellence in resident focused care for older people with dementia. The home comprises 23 bedrooms and provides support for people living with dementia.
As Team Leader, as well as supporting the Croft Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include management and clinical oversight of the home. You will apply your excellent management skills as you lead your highly professional and dedicated team of caregivers. The key to success in this busy, demanding and highly rewarding role will be your ability to balance your professional skills and experience with your lively attitude, sense of fun and warm personality. As part of a supportive and innovative team your commitment to The Eden Alternative® Philosophy will be the key to continuing our Eden journey to create living environments that nurture and celebrate companionship, spontaneity, enjoyment, choice and activity.
You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a registered nurse and ideally, have completed a qualification in dementia and be a registered InterRAI assessor.

Family Works - Team Leader
Presbyterian Support is the leading social services provider in South Canterbury. As one of the region’s largest local employers, we employ over 400 staff across multiple sites in Aged Care, Community Services and Family services.
Family Works services support children, young people and their families to be safe strong and connected.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people and their families? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We require a Team Leader to provide professional leadership, supervision and management support to our social work team at Family Works in schools and community based.
This new position requires the following personal attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work
- Full registration Social Workers Registration Board
- Experienced practitioner in working with children, young people and their families and thorough knowledge of current best practice
- Experience and knowledge working with a wide range of intervention approaches
- Experience and a relevant qualification or papers in clinical supervision and the professional development of staff, is preferable
- Working knowledge of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and other relevant NZ legislation
- Well-developed skills and knowledge and competence in the use of IT systems.
This position is full time (40 hours per week) based in Timaru.
