Strengthening Families Coordination Service
Strengthening Families is a free service to help your family access the services you need. If there is a child or young person in your family who would benefit from help from more than one agency, the Family Works South Canterbury Strengthening Families coordinator can help you bring it all together.

Social Workers in Schools (SWiS)
Social Workers in Schools (SWiS) is a free service that supports your child(ren) and family to learn, grow and thrive. Whether you need help with school, at home or with things like health services, our Family Works South Canterbury SWiS workers are trained professionals who work in partnership with you and your child’s school. ‘Too Easy’ Frozen Meals
Presbyterian Support South Canterbury heat and eat “Too Easy Frozen Meals” are convenient and very reasonably priced. Our meals come in both individual and family sizes and are a great solution when families are under pressure, coping with illness, or in need of a little practical help. Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group
If you are caring for your grandchildren, a family member’s children or fostering a child / children the Family Works South Canterbury Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group may help you. The group meets monthly, to find out more or join the group please CLICK HERE
