What is @Home?

@Home is a new user-pays service from Presbyterian Support South Canterbury, designed for those who need a little extra help and companionship.

Staying in your own home is often the choice we all wish to make but sometimes circumstances can make this a little hard.  Whether you’re supporting ageing parents, recovering from an accident or illness, or simply someone needing a helping hand, @Home offers tailored domestic assistance with warmth, professionalism, and trust.

We work around you and your family to provide you or someone you love with the support and assistance to provide you with peace of mind, when and where it is needed the most – in your own home.

Our team of trained and dedicated Home Care Partners are just as skilled working in the community as they are in rest homes.

If you just need help at home no questions asked, we can do that for you. If you want to focus on your strengths, abilities, needs and goals to improve and/or maintain your physical and psychological health and continue to live as independently as possible we can do that to.

It is about what you want or need, you will always be in control.

Who is @Home for?

@Home has NO age limitations.  Our staff are here to provide a flexible, user-pays initiative designed to support people of any age in the comfort of their own home.

With no age restrictions, the service is open to anyone seeking help with daily tasks, companionship, or simply a little extra support to maintain independence.  Whether it’s housekeeping, outings, shopping, exercise, or just a friendly face for a social visit, @Home is ready to respond.

This service is currently focused on domestic care but PSSC plan to expand offerings as the programme grows. If you have a particular need please chat to us and we will do our very best to help.
